| Have lost
all sorts before...... Quilts, knife blocks, glasses, furniture. Beds
have been used. Last year there was a dirty coffee cup left in bedroom.
All my emails ignored -

| Example 2 |
| We don't know whether or not the
burglary was reported to the police or not. We were eventually given a new
replacement TV. Also when we arrived in April this year the DVD player had
disappeared along with the TV remote control! After all the hassle last
time, backwards and forwards to the office when we should have been having a
relaxing holiday, we did not even report it! We just went out and bought a
replacement remote but didn't even bother replacing the DVD -

| Example 3
- From
Philippe e-mailing on behalf of French owners:- |

| |
| Example 4 |
|
I just returned . We arrived at midnight on the Friday .
|
|
We didn’t not see any one in the security hut. |
|
We went to our two outside storage units to get out , |
|
 |
|
| our
sheets toilet rolls etc. |
|
Guess what? The
locks had been changed on both our units. We had to sleep in our clothes. We
went to the office the next morning to be told all the units had their locks
changed and no one was informed. The reason was so Siblu would have keys for
everyone’s units? As we keep our bikes and personal stuff there I don't
think Siblu should have the keys.
Tom who sold us our
mobile told us that those units were ours to do with what we wanted and only
we would have the keys. Looks like it was a lie just like all the other
stuff he told us. A clock radio was taken from our mobile as was a tray from
our oven and the shower was broken. We tried to see Damien Casten a couple
of times regarding this but we were told her was too busy.

| Example 5 |
| Hi
David, I thought I would let you know that when we arrived at LC on sat 24 June we found our van to
secure and locked, but to our horror that we had been squatted in, the
fridge had beer and some rotten food in it, all beds had been slept in and
various candles used.
When the squatters left they had
washed up and tidied and even used my antifreeze to re winterise the van (I
had winterised at end of august when we left), they also liked our
television and DVD player that they took these with them, as well as all the
remote controls even the one for the satellite receiver that they left
behind.
I paid many visits to the owners
reception who sent out a security man to make notes and to contact the
police on our behalf, after visiting the reception on many occasions it
became obvious that they had no interest in contacting the police and were
not particularly interested in what had happened to us, they could not say
how our keys were taken from their safe but they were still there, not any
more we changed the door lock and have not left them a spare key

| This owner was not
burgled this year, but they have been twice before. 1st time was between
February/ April '06. They have reported the burglar themselves to the police
in Agde. 2nd time was during winter 2006/2007but nothing significant was
stolen. In both cases, the burglars had a key |

| Example 7 |
|
vouloir porter plainte pourquoi ????
avance - Denis Goulet

| Example 8
- update |
| On site from June 9th to June 19th
Update on stolen/damaged items. Shed completely wrecked. Roof damaged beyond
repair as it was used as access to rear of site.
Doors forced open once again but only
plastic chairs/loungers in there and nothing taken. Damien looked at
it, promised to investigate getting new roof but never heard anything again
for the 10 days on site.
Toilet had been used in mobile home
and not flushed, so smelt like a public toilet when we opened up. All
services (water, elecricity & gas) on although I had turned them all off in
June 2007.
Folding wooden chairs and all new bed
linen (still in their original packing as they came with mobile home)
stolen. Damien looked, asked me to write letter to the parc manager
but guess what? No response from anybody and despite emails still none.
Have now part exchanged mobile home
for new one at Domaine de Dugney, lovely site, nice people and no
security issues. Management and staff friendly and unlike LC, the management
are helpful and get things done

| Example 9 |
|
3 years on the trot
we had squatters. Leaving food in the freezer and microwave. Dirty
saucepans and worktops. Shower head broken. One time we found another key
left on the table and the door had been locked. We could account for all our
keys including the one that haven had. Along with the majority of the parc
we had our shed broken into the year 2006. Nothing taken. Otherwise
all petty stuff that has gone missing. Even the end of the hose
disappeared. This year signs of someone using again but for some
unknown reason they left a brand new padlock. Why? -

|
| Example 10 |
|
Our shed was done during the winter but it was impossible |
|
to notice unless you tried to open it. Basically they kicked |
|
the right hand door off the runner at the bottom, |
|
 |
|
|
lent in and pulled out
any bags they could reach, which unfortunately
|
| contained
the clothes we had left there from last year. The door was |
| sort of
put back properly but I repaired the damage easily myself -

| Example 11 |
| We are
here in LC for most
of June when we arrived we had been plundered to the tune of 200 euros yet
again as new owners we feel that we will definitely not let next year if
this is to continue ! We were warned but no one at Siblu seems to have any
proper procedures ie., getting deposits and not letting people off site
until homes have been checked. For those letting everyone even our french
neighbours all say the same we are sitting targets both for visitors in
the summer and whoever chooses to visit site in the winter
As far as the months of opening are
concerned we were lead to believe by sales and Siblu that they were to be
extended it was never our intention to have such a short season. As this is
our first season we feel we cannot say too much as our experiences are not
as lengthy as yourselves and others however we will support whatever action
people would wish to take 100%.

 |
| Example 12 |
| From Philippe e-mailing on behalf of
French owners:- this owners said "They had their
shelter broken open and had a bike, some wine and a drill stolen." |
|
 |
|
Example 13 |
| We paid
our site fees in November last year and have just recv'd invoices plus
several letters asking for site fees? Also letters requesting for us
to let our home in August when we have already given them dates for
August ? The administration in France concerns me and the ethics of LC
from time to time..... We had essential items on inventory taken from
the home some were stored for us but we still lost things and there is
evidence that staff have been using our home. From your experience
have you any suggestions as to how we should go about sorting this out ?
The way it is going we certainly won't dream of letting next year -

Example 14 |

mobil-home was burgled (with a key) last winter. A flat-screen TV set
has been stolen. They sent a e-mail to Damien on 28th April, but they
have not got any reply yet. - Danielle |
